2Nicodemus comes by night
Nicodemus, a Pharisee and a ruler of the Jews, came to Jesus by night and called him a teacher come from God. Jesus told him that unless one is born anew he cannot see God’s Kingdom, and spoke of being born of water and Spirit.
Burial in a new tomb
Joseph of Arimathaea, with Nicodemus, took Jesus’ body, wrapped it in linen with spices and laid it in a new tomb in a garden near the place where he was crucified.
