What happened here
3Woes on Chorazin, Bethsaida and Capernaum
Jesus reproached Chorazin, Bethsaida and Capernaum, the towns where most of his mighty works had been done, because they did not repent.
Matthew and Luke do not say where Jesus spoke these words; the markers show the towns he addressed.
A blind man healed at Bethsaida
At Bethsaida people brought a blind man to Jesus. He led the man out of the village, spat on his eyes and laid his hands on him; the man saw people like walking trees, and when Jesus laid his hands on his eyes again, he saw everyone clearly.
Feeding the five thousand
With five loaves and two fish, Jesus fed about five thousand men, and twelve baskets of broken pieces were left over.
Luke places this in a deserted area near Bethsaida (Luke 9:10). Matthew and Mark describe a deserted place reached by boat; John places it across the Sea of Galilee.
